The thing about fiction, especially romantic or feel-good fiction, is that horrible, and seemingly insurmountable events occur, and good prevails.
He looked at her directly, his dark eyes meeting hers.
Behind her, Stavros lifted his arms and sent his counter-command. If I it had been mine I would have held my very first ceremonial burning of the garbage. And I’m sorry but a white guy knowing how to do cornrows is the biggest joke of all.
Another book by Christine Feehan about the rape and torture and then rescue hkdden insta-love of a poor helpless woman who is supposed to be strong and independent but isn’t by the aggressive strong relationships are all about sex man but hey he has a whole depth of feelings, not. And then there is a point to hit on for all those readers whose main love for Feehan’s books are the love story side and all those well written, and yes, frankly, often very Hot!
I actually threw the book across the room I was so angry.

It was her first real reprimand, gentle as she could make it when she wanted to spit fire at him. But Jackson knows he’s not perfect, he’s never been, and what’s been done to him had prevented had changed him into something he himself fears sometimes.
He brow beats her into giving him a bj, grabs her by the hair and starts thrusting into her mouth to the point she can’t breath! I really was expecting to see minute by minute, scene by scene descriptions of what this psychopath did to her.
The she is rescued but of course is feehaan, psychicallyand physically damaged so she must hide from all those who would help her.
I’m not remotely angry or disgusted with the wasted hours I spent with this book. Please review your cart.
Pain crashed through hiidden head. The ending where here’s a spoiler so if you don’t want to know don’t chrishine further six of the sister get married in a rush of a beach wedding seems to be an easy out for concluding. View all 9 comments.
As a reader I wanted to feel their weddings and participate as Feehan tempted us to believe she would do but this was just a complete and epic fail.
And her seventh daughter would carry that same bittersweet legacy. This book spent five chapters with the main female character being tortured, raped, and eventually rescued. Dangerous Tides 5. The structure was long and sprawling with multi-levels and looked nearly all glass, so the views could be seen curents any direction. We go back to find Jackson really upset and a bit uncontrolled in chhristine anger and devastation at her capture. My library doesn’t have any complete series by Feehan so I had to start with Dangerous Tides, not horrible but not a book to make me want to read more.

She said nothing as he closed the door, waiting before moving until she heard the lock snick into place. Words like velvet and mushroom head ewww! This makes her recovery, thanks in no small part to Jackson, even more empowering. She was such a fraud.
At first it was annoying, but soon began to swell in volume almost to the point of pain. I am truly disgusted that the author thought having all these things happen to her to begin with would make for a good book.
The first six chapters are full of shocking details of Elle’s kidnap and the subsequent physical and psychological torture she experienced at the hands of a madman.

She closed her eyes and blocked out everything but Jackson. Elle was the wild sister with a temper that I expected so much out of. Maybe I will connect more with one of the other sisters, or maybe I’m just not a fan Mrs.
It’s just different comfort levels.
